Postdoctoral Training Program in Medical Informatics: Postdoctoral trainees are offered an opportunity to combine formal training in Medical Informatics with research applying Medical Informatics to areas of relevance to the VA health care system such as decision support systems technologies.
Postdoctoral Training Program in Health Services Research: Postdoctoral trainees are offered an opportunity to combine formal training in health services research with research in such areas as organization and delivery of services; diagnostic assessment, screening and clinical decision-making; psychiatric and substance abuse disorders and their treatment; geriatric disorders and interventions; and health care evaluation methodology.
Postdoctoral Training Program in Informal Caregiving, Long-term Care and Aging in Place: Postdoctoral trainees are offered an opportunity to collaborate with national and international leaders in health services research methods including implementation science, cost-effectiveness, community-based research, and technology-enabled interventions, as well as critical content areas of substance use disorders, chronic and serious illness management, and advancing health policy.
Postdoctoral Training Program in Addressing Homelessness and Criminal Involvement: Postdoctoral trainees are offered an opportunity to integrate robust homeless experiences and training into existing VA Advanced Fellowship
programs.
