  • Veterans Crisis Line – Free, confidential crisis support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For Veterans and their loved ones. No need to be enrolled in VA benefits or health care.

  • Coaching Into Care – Free guidance and help for starting conversations with the Veteran in your life about their mental health or substance use and motivating them to seek treatment

  • Al-Anon – Support for those affected by a friend of loved one’s drinking problem

  • Nar-Anon – Support for those affected by a friend or loved one’s addiction

  • Families Anonymous - 12 step fellowship for the family and friends of those individuals with drug, alcohol or related behavioral issues.

  • Learn to Cope – Peer support network that offers meetings, education, and resources for adult family members coping with a loved one addicted to opioids or other drugs

  • SMART Recovery Family & Friends – For family members of people living with addiction. Secular alternative to Al-Anon. Resources to help you and your loved one struggling with addiction

  • Parents of Addicted Loved Ones (PAL) – For parents who have children with addiction to alcohol or drugs. Christian-run non-profit with educational and sharing components

  • Support for family or friends of Veterans with mental health challenges
