Dan Eisenberg, MD
Dr. Dan Eisenberg is Director of Bariatric Surgery at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System and Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at Stanford School of Medicine. He received his Master’s of Science in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University, and his Medical Doctorate from Washington University in St. Louis.
Dr. Eisenberg’s research interest is in the field of obesity and metabolic surgery in special populations. In particular, he is focused on the management, treatment barriers and outcomes of Veterans with obesity. Currently he is PI on a VA HSR&D-funded study investigating the quality of guideline concordant care in Veterans with spinal cord injury and obesity.
